I need a Miracle (Every Day)

For as long as I have been able, I have been driving the NH coastline and let me tell you, it is well worth the time. My favorite are the twilight hours in the early a.m. where I have Route 1A mostly to myself. Birders beware.

The twists and turns you can feel your seat as you accelerate through the apex of the banked corners. (Straightening the Curves) This 14 mile ride is one to keep you returning whether you have 4 wheels on your Vette or you are pushing your walker.

Be sure to keep an eye on the sky to your right if you heading north, for the Sunrise Delight! Keep your windows down so God does not take your breath away. I enjoy this ride with or without music playing on the radio. I imagine it depends on my mood that day. No day would be complete without a stop at KooKs Cafe and Bar! Tacos and Smoothies… What don’t they do there?

Lately I have been enjoying the music of the earth as the birds leap up to the tops of the telephone lines and start squaking at the sun and the gunning of my engine.

This photo was taken at sunrise on the summer solstice in June 2024 at Ordiorne Point State Park near Rye, NH.

I noticed something unusual during my summer sojourn as the freighter you see in the photo was parked off camera to the south at twilight time. Moments after the sun broke the horizon and scattered the shore birds into flight, the ships engines fired up and the captain pulled a U-turn and hustled back to port in Portsmouth, NH!!!

A Brief Musical Interlude

It was nothing short of miraculous!
